Chasys Draw IES

Chasys Draw IES is a suite of image editing applications including a layer-based image editor with adjustment layers, linked layers, timeline and frame-based animation, icon editing, image stacking and comprehensive plug-in support (Chasys Draw IES Artist), a fast multi-threaded image file converter (Chasys Draw IES Converter) and a fast image viewer (Chasys Draw IES Viewer), with RAW image support in all components. It supports the native file formats of several competitors including Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo, ArtWeaver, Corel PhotoPaint, FireAlpaca, GIMP, Krita, Paint.NET, PaintShop Pro and Pixlr, and the whole suite is designed to make effective use of multi-core processors, touch-screens and pen-input devices.

Quality Rollup, TextArt and Other Improvements

This release features improved TextArt with 5 new distorts and better block rendering, as well as improved Crop, Set Canvas, Screen Capture, Automation, Camera RAW and MegaStack.
It includes the Quality Rollup for Q2 of 2024 focusing on ease of use, as well as lightness support in HSV adjustments, effectively making the adjustment HSL.

File Support and More

PDF support has been generalized and is now available in all components, and several file format support plug-ins have received updates. Several bugs have been fixed, including bug fixes for high core-count CPUs, scaling and resampling.
